Approximately one year has passed since the Marked One's story. You are the military Lieutenant Priboi Slipchenko, and you were sent into the Zone... There was a secret organization, called UHSF, and they were responsible for the incident. They had a base at Dead City but the mercenaries wiped them out in the late 80's. The organization fell apart, and the last living members disappeared until today. Somehow this story is connected to the Marked One's story, and you'll eventually find out how. Over 20 important classified documents were hidden in the zone and you will need to find them to complete the puzzle. You will need to be "Sherlock Holmes" and dig deeper in the zone then you have ever done before. This is a re-release of the popular Priboi Story modification released in later January
Description
This is the 1.1 version of the long awaited Priboi Story. Actually we would call it the 1.0, what we always wanted to release, but because of time, we could not finish all the things we wanted. Now this version brings all the cutout features from 1.0. However we are already working on 1.2, and that will bring more fun, and almost each level will contain new alife. In 1.1, mostly we concentrated to fix what we can, there were some bugs, most of them was acceptable, but we tried to clean the mod as much as we could. It was not easy, since we are working on 2 other project at the same time. You may find more info about us at our website, or we can inform you about the progress in email too. The 1.1 version contains all 1.0 features, we included the 1.0 readme too, so you will find everything in 1 place. We hope you will have more fun in this version. We included some weapons and some new drivable vehicles, and optimized the levels. Changelog in description.

This mod need stalker 1.0006 but I have 1.00001 and loading is freezing after 'priboi story launched..'

And install config and script in gamedata (no replace other folder, just replace file).
I have the same issue but I dont really understand how to fix it. What am I replacing the file with? What do I do in the PATCH file? What do I do with the config script files?

Whenever I try to load a savegame STALKER just crashes to my desktop.
I don't quite understand how to install this mod, I'm not very pc savvy. All I know is what I did ended up killing my copy of stalker, now it won't start even after being reinstalled 3 times. So, how DO I install this properly?

download
extract from .rar archive (using winrar, just google it)
copy&paste "gamedata" folder into your game directory (eg C:\Program Files\THQ\S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobyl) and just run teh game...
btw this mod ROX BIGTIME can't wait for new pc to use gfx tweak mod with this xD molodcy!!! (gd job in rus)

i went from average 60 fps to 12 when i installed and played this mod..wtf?
the mod went thru a serious redesign. ppl wanted big zones, now we see its not possible, since xray even locks up if we add more stuff to the normal levels. mostly the added trees, and houses and debris slows it down, but it shoudnt so much. maybe you wont be able to play it on full settings, as the origi game without mods or with some other mods, but this is different. we tried to make it look even better, cost of performance on some pcs. on my pc it runs with 20-30fps, and its playable, but without the mod the game runs with 40-50-fps. we added a little system spec to the readme. the oldest pc we tested it was mine, and those values i wrote above is my old pc test results (2.4+ amd at 2ghz, 1g ram, and old ati9800pro with 128mbram)
gamestar tested it with e6600 cpu, 3g ram and 8800gt vga, and it ran pretty fast. you can check the test video on our youtube profile. ( Youtube.com )

its somewhat 80% done, but our lead scripter's pc broke and now we are waiting... until then, we work on lost alpha levels.

Dezodor I need you help. I've installed this mod but I get a crash to desktop as it loads the @Start Game'.
Still getting crashes to desktop on XP x-64...
if you are the one who i talked on youtube with, then all i can say, i cant help. you can try to check if you installed the mod properly, do not use smart mod manager, since it was made for vanilla mods, and this one is not tested with it, it can cause problems, and also you should check if you properly unpacked the 1.0005 update to the gamedata or not.
the last thing i would say is... its because of 64bit xp, since we never tested it, only with 32bit xp.
in priboi 1.1 with last fix, only 2 bugs left. the first one is a rare and random crash when you create new game, but then in log you will see "invalid vertex for object" at the fatal error section in the end of log.
the other is vanilla bug, which we didnt correct, it usually happens on army wh, if you go near the mercs.
there are some other things, like maybe some wpns are over or underpowered, but they dont cause ctd.
Im getting CTD on Priboi 1.004 and 1.005.
I have OL2.2, OL 2009, amk en 2.0.94 and lurk all running fine. Tried multiple downloads from different sites. Did not forget the patch when I tried 1.005.
Have the latest updates #3 both 1.004 and 1.005. Both versions CTD on start new.
Not a noob. FS right, clean installs, even delete shared doc before install....no joy.

Downloads menu updated with new patch which makes the mod to 1.1.3. This 3rd update needs new game, but it fixes many problems and bugs, also adds new features.

I don't know it anyone is still monitoring this mod or not, but the download is formated in a file type in which my computer cannot read. I use Windows Vista: Home Premium, 32 bit, and it can't ready a 7z. file. Please help if anyone can.

hey i need help getting priobi 1.1 to work. i dowloaded it and extracted it with winrar and put the gamedata folder in the directory. i started the game and it worked fine, but when i saved it and loaded it back it keeps crashing. i have the 1.5 update for stalker and did everything i could think of but nothing worked. i even unistalled it and installed it back with steam, and repeated the process, but it dosnt work. when i install oblivion lost though it works completely fine, and im stumped trying to figure out how to fix it please help

if you have shoc v. 1.004 you must install 1.004 patch or you have 1.005 you must install 1.005 patch

Having a lot of trouble with this mod; think it's very good, but can't load any saves, either 'quick' or 'automatic'. An attempt to load a save ends in a game crash.
Would appreciate any help. Believe l loaded the mod and 1005 fix correctly.
Am running SOC version 1.006; maybe that's the problem.?
yes, thats the problem. this mod was mainly made for 1.0004, but we made support patches for 1.0005. That means it wont work on 1.0006 at all, or with heavy bugs.

Load up the mod and patched it but the game crashes on the loading screen everytime I try to load up a save. The game starts fine but as soon as I try to reload a save it crashes. Please help.
Where is the SKYce skygraphics 1.81 package ? The link from manual won't work. I tried it and it says that the file is not there anymore, it has been removed.
