Long ago, when the word 'Hiigara' rang only as a hollow dream, the kiith of Kharak never imagined they would walk the Path to Victory. But, when they reclaimed their Homeworld and proclaimed themselves 'Hiigaran', they believed they had reached their goal. How wrong they were. 150 years after Hiigaran landfall, conflict rages across the Galaxy... Path to Victory is a multiplayer and skirmish mod for Homeworld 2 that adds new units to both Vaygr and Hiigaran Races as well as enabling the Keepers, Raiders and Kadeshi as playable races.

So, essentially, it's a mini-shipyard for smaller ships?
Teamcolor is orange and dark-blue?

Looks funny with these boxes.

Also good writhing, just 2 remarks - “Offense” and... Guess what? On image it is still “Nabal”.

The yellow parts are always yellow, just like the production modules and other parts of the production ships. Teamcolor seems to be blue/white.

Think of them as industrial containers. ;)

Isn't it spelled "Nabaal"?

A, just noticed Siege platform. Yeah, blue-wight, didn't noticed.
Well, here they are not yellow, but... orange? ocher?

But they are still funny!

In HW and HW:C manual it is “Naabal”, so I prefer this version.

It's only HW2 where we see it spelled Nabaal. (Or was it HW2 manual? *shrug)

In HW2 manual only 1 time mentioned “Nabaal”.

Well, in HW manual there is generally “Naabal” with “Nabaal” few times and even some “Naabel”.

Just curious – why I'm getting minused without comments?

image one is a typo (I keep mis-spelling Naabal - there are just so many versions). They're called Naabal ingame.

Is it possible to have a mission that recovers the mother ship from balcora,(or some unknown 3rd part looter faction) would make for a great mission cause your essentially fighting hiigarian ships to reclaim the new(but discarded MS) also they have 2 mother ships the original one and the pride. in the HW:C book it states that the old MS was turned into a space station(oribital shipyard).

This may be a possible scenario I will add to get my sp scripting skills up to speed. it wouldn't be part of the main campaign but a kind of bonus mission.

oops... I didn't read every thing that was posted before I wrote that second post. I meant the starting with a carrier part.

by the way, with all the hiigaran flagships I was blowing up when I was playing PTV I would say that the empire would be more wary after all that. And I've always hated seeing 3 hiigaran MSs in one battle.

So essentially; Factories build Strikecraft/Corvettes? or will they incur a build bonus to nearby ships as well? (I've probably somehow made that last bit up)

They build everything a carrier can build except capships. No bonus is granted. They come with inherit modules. Factories can be used to replace carriers (Soban) or as additional production ships (both combat kiiths)

Description

There are times when even the great Naabal shipyards are taxed to their limits, spitting out Destroyers, Cruisers and Battlecruisers at record speed to support a Hiigaran Offence. When this is the case, Kiith Naabal turns to their factories to produce smaller ships until their shipyards have time to spare for such insignificant requests.

Designed to be modular - in order to be quickly assembled when production requests go up and disassembled when no longer needed - these Naabali Factories are a common sight in Hiigaran Space.

There are even cases where Naabal will lease a Factory to another Kiith to aid in specific production requests such as advanced weapons components for Kiith S'jet or non-standard chassis designs for Kiith Somtaaw... at a cost of course.

If there is one thing the Naabali know about, it is how to turn anything into a profit...
