Long ago, when the word 'Hiigara' rang only as a hollow dream, the kiith of Kharak never imagined they would walk the Path to Victory. But, when they reclaimed their Homeworld and proclaimed themselves 'Hiigaran', they believed they had reached their goal. How wrong they were. 150 years after Hiigaran landfall, conflict rages across the Galaxy... Path to Victory is a multiplayer and skirmish mod for Homeworld 2 that adds new units to both Vaygr and Hiigaran Races as well as enabling the Keepers, Raiders and Kadeshi as playable races.
When I said I wasn't adding any new ship models, I wasn't expecting Baroness from Complex Mod to grace me with such a wonderful creation out of the blue.
This is a work which is not mine but that of the Complex Team. All credits for the updated Mothership model go to them.
I am very happy and thankful to have recieved this model and it is in my eyes a great addition to the original Mothership. Path To Victory will be featuring this as the Hiigaran Expeditionary Fleet's Mothership.

Is the Defense Fleet gonna get a mothership of their own or are you gonna keep the shipyard for it?
I think the Defense fleet should have something stationary, like those giant stations the complex mod has...only an idea. ;)
They'll get the dreadnaught (big round disk with many guns but not very fast) when I come round to making it but no mothership. The Mothership in my eyes is something for exploring or long journeys, not something a defense fleet would have much use for.
Station thingys are something I'm a bit split about. On one side they're cool, on the other hand they can be a pain, in terms of gameplay and balance.
You mean like the thing they have in Complex named the Vortex?

Actually, I was planning on making the dreadnaught like the Somtaaw one from Cataclysm, just more hiigaranish. It would make sense for them to evolve that design I think. Basically, 2x Ion Turret 8x Gun Turret (up from 4) and something like 8 torpedo tubes. Maybe a flak cannon or pulsar cannon battery too...
