Long ago, when the word 'Hiigara' rang only as a hollow dream, the kiith of Kharak never imagined they would walk the Path to Victory. But, when they reclaimed their Homeworld and proclaimed themselves 'Hiigaran', they believed they had reached their goal. How wrong they were. 150 years after Hiigaran landfall, conflict rages across the Galaxy... Path to Victory is a multiplayer and skirmish mod for Homeworld 2 that adds new units to both Vaygr and Hiigaran Races as well as enabling the Keepers, Raiders and Kadeshi as playable races.
The Plasma Corvette will replace the Laser Corvette for the Vaygr Task Force Venom. It's heavy plasma cannons are ideal for piercing frigate armor and disabling critical systems within.
While this ship can not reach the damage potential of the Laser Corvette, the Plasma Corvette can disable ships far more efficiently, making it perfect for pirating enemy ships or flash raids, leaving the enemy no chance to fight back.
So I'm no expert on modding at all but, I am a big fan of this game, so i have a few tips. Although the Vaygr look cooler and were originally made a little weaker than the Hig. I think overall the Hig. need more new units to match what you've done with the Vaygr. Also, I think that if there's two factions per race you need to make them with very different strengths and weaknesses. This is Vane (Nathan) by the way:)
He mentions that he has intentions to add more ships to both sides, He just hasn't gotten around to making/showing us them.....
More like haven't gotten round to making them. All coming, it just takes time and time is a ressource I don't have in abundance.
