Long ago, when the word 'Hiigara' rang only as a hollow dream, the kiith of Kharak never imagined they would walk the Path to Victory. But, when they reclaimed their Homeworld and proclaimed themselves 'Hiigaran', they believed they had reached their goal. How wrong they were. 150 years after Hiigaran landfall, conflict rages across the Galaxy... Path to Victory is a multiplayer and skirmish mod for Homeworld 2 that adds new units to both Vaygr and Hiigaran Races as well as enabling the Keepers, Raiders and Kadeshi as playable races.
So, the kadeshi. You all remember them from Homeworld 1. They were my favorite race back then. What about you?
Well, the thing with the kadeshi is they're a bit of a boring race to be honest. They have a very limited tactical repetoire that generally comes down to: Building more stuff than the enemy and then killing him by numbers.
They're also very vulnerable to anti-fighter weapons which is brought out even more by their need to select two of four classes as their main classes.
Eventually we came to the realization they needed another option which soon became the heretics, the Marked of Sajuuk.
However what Alpha 6 did not do was differenciate between the two kadeshi factions. In Path to Victory Beta this established trend will be a far more pronounced difference.
The Marked of Sajuuk will offer you the ability to end a game quickly with superior firepower and numbers while the alternative, Perish the Thought, will offer the ability to draw out the game even more than before with lategame upgrades allowing you to further improve on your sacred fleet.
This should however not be a be-all end-all decision. Regardless of the choice you make there should be a chance of a continued game or a fast victory.
The addition of more ships and subsystems to the Marked of Sajuuk faction as well as some powerful special abilities for the Perish the Thought faction attempts to level the playing field here a bit while staying true to the way things have played thus far.
Beautiful picture.
I encountered a problem where the capital ships would seem like they are colliding while in tactical view
The further the camera zoomed out in tactical view the more 'on top of each other' they were.
I disabled nclip and geometry on low. Same thing.
Did you disable NLIPS? I'm not sure if you mean that with nclip.
This should seriously not be happening with NLIPS off though.
it's raining....kadeshins?
...... ok my brain is tricking me. some of those look like the female zantrandi powerd armor from macross/robotech. the first war. i think its just the angle though
