Operation: Black Mesa is a total Source remake of Half Life: Opposing Force. Using the Source engine, the developers plan to recreate the Black Mesa research Facility as it was seen by Corporal Adrian Shephard of the H.E.C.U. Half-life: Opposing Force is still an amazing game, although it is not nearly as amazing as it was when it was released.

I feel I must bring up a factor regarding Modification and game Canonicity.
Unfortunately, in order for the Modification to follow a strict canonicity of the times that the Mod chapters take place, and a slight mis-calculation of times on my end, this Skybox would have to be set at 10AM, which means that the Sky would be light blue (Near Midday) and that the Desert would be much lighter.
Would you guys prefer the area to be strictly in canon (I.E. change the Skybox to 10AM), or would you prefer aesthetics (I.E. Keep the current Sunset Skybox texture)?
Actually, it probably wouldn't be 10 am because, according to the Half-Life wiki, the chapter takes place at the exact same time as Surface Tension, and I'd say that's during the afternoon. But, I think you're partially right. Get rid of the sunset.

this is kinda late but in black mesa source their is a sunset with orangeish skies when the hecu where pulling out so i think the sun set is cannon and in opposing force the sky is a late sunset
This sky is outdated and won't make it to the final product. (don't worry we have a better sunset now) We have atm a sky-list with a timetable. It's more cannon now to the events of half life 1 and blue shift.
