Operation: Black Mesa is a total Source remake of Half Life: Opposing Force. Using the Source engine, the developers plan to recreate the Black Mesa research Facility as it was seen by Corporal Adrian Shephard of the H.E.C.U. Half-life: Opposing Force is still an amazing game, although it is not nearly as amazing as it was when it was released.

Most likely, we're trying to make a wide variety of faces, and adding the whole spectre of races would just make things easier :)
its true ive messaged this team to model South Asian char in the game . thoe adding in other races is hard for the main stream storyline due the games reflection on the original goldsource version. I think the addition of a South Asian Soldier would be nice however.

Awesome! I can't wait! I hope though that at least the main squad you see at the boot camp and heli at the beggining will be the same, then they will just be randomized with loads of new skins throughout the game. :)
