Operation: Black Mesa is a total Source remake of Half Life: Opposing Force. Using the Source engine, the developers plan to recreate the Black Mesa research Facility as it was seen by Corporal Adrian Shephard of the H.E.C.U. Half-life: Opposing Force is still an amazing game, although it is not nearly as amazing as it was when it was released.

Great job! You guys should make him have the helmet on for when he jumps into the portal into Xen. That would explain why he didnt die when he got there from lack of oxygen which is something i always thought about in the originals. Unless xens air is breathable and safe to go there with out all skin covered up.

There were other scientist there who survived without the HEV suits.
I'm not a fan of the helmet though.

Not to mention Shephard and Barney weren't wearing a helmet or HEV suit when they got to Xen and still alive so Xen atmosphere is breathable (Note that the PCV is an armored vest, not like a suit).
I hope you guys added the sun glasses (not normal glasses) for him just like in the original :)

I understand where you're coming from... but I'd like to point this out to you anyway.

But gordon still needs the helmet for the radioactive areas he steps in during his adventures.

Amazing! But one thing: How's he supposed to put in the batteries? Take off his suit and turn it around? It'd be hard to reach the back of it.

Also, the HEV suit looks makes Gordon look much more Agile, I like it. :D

well, is just a suggestion about where the batteries can be placed. or have you ever questioned where they put all the weapons?? xD

Yeah. Maybe it could go onto the side of his suit. Easily reachable, and all. But it'll have to either be external or that area might have to be a bit fatter (In the suit, obviously)

As for the Weapons, yeah, I was wondering about that. For my mod, I might try some holsters on the back of his suit and stuff. It'd fit well. The holsters will be attached to the suit, though. Probably Black or Grey.

Still, GREAT job! I hope I can draw as well as you one day (assuming you're the artist)

Your idea sounds very interesting dude :D infact, the HEV suit in HL1 have a line that says "weapon select system activated" i suppose the HEV suit could have something of that :D

and yeah, i´m the guy who draw this. thanks

LOL that's what I have in mind too years ago. Where the hell would Gordon place all his weapons? Shrink them when he holsters them or something? LOL

Well, in Opposing Force it made sense. Because Shephard had a backpack to store all his weapons, right? XD

In the part when he jumps trough the portal he should have the long jump module attached to his back, scince he has it at that point.

Xen's air is breathable because if it was only breathable to the Aliens but not to the humans, than the Aliens would die when they telaported to Earth.

I think there should be a scene where you see Gordon before the teleporter part. That way we can get a better look at this guy.
