Awesome ship - and good GUI wip.

The holographic effect you promised is becoming reality and it is really cool.

It is already more clear than stock one.

Btw it still needs some work, but the results are very encouraging.

Great work men!

very awesome work on the GUI even now it really much meets the style of the new backgrounds and when its finished Im convinced it'll be pure awesomeness. Will you leave the generel form or will you completely re-work it in every aspect? Both the rounded design of the icons and the red on them don't look good on this though.

And good job on the new cruiser warb.

Icons still have to be done. Some of them will be holo, though Burnt wants to make the ones around the minimap more like pressable buttons.

Version 1 of Old Republic at War will only have space, though we are busy with GC and ground aswell.

Description

Well, Karcov and Mando were both working on it, and then the FileFront threat about Warbs models got updated, about which I was really exited ofc, who isn't when warb releases something new? So I saw the pic of the BC and thought "Wow, epic...wait, we were making that" that was a pretty T.T moment but ofc we're using this one. Still have to code it in fully.

Also, I wanted to give you guys a shout out about Nawrocki, who some in the community seem to think is a second-place skinner, who makes pixellated skins. Ofc Nawrocki worked for Alliance before he started to help ORaW, and people started to not like his skins not because they are pixelated, but because Alliance mod doesn't use Bump maps, specular lighting, or any shadow effects at all, not doing the amazing skins justice. See, in fact Nawrocki sometimes spends weeks on a texture, and when you open it in photoshop you really get to appreciate what he makes, but ships in mods can be small, and therefor texture resolution is reduced and that'll cause it to look pixelated, rather than what you see in photoshop. Why am I saying this? Because I feel this man deserves more respect than that he is getting, so I felt like writing it all down, I took some deliberate pictures of his skin on the Tririme and the Strident (I really have to give these different names, they're fanon after all) to show you what I mean, the lighting I made on the map is kind of dominating though. Nawrocki has agreed to also reskin the Foray and Hammerhead cruiser. As ORaW is very focussed on lighting and special effects, expect Nawrockies "pixelated" textures to be the shrines of beauty they can be when used properly. Karcov is finishing some skin problems on the Escort, and Burntstrobe is finishing the GUI, as seen here in a very WIP form. Only comment on the GUI if you have some good constructive critisism, as you can't bash something that isn't finished and it already looks great.
