Good news everyone! Our map-makers have made amazing discovery: in release version of game locations geometry aren't fit to AI-net. It has strange gaps and in many places doesn't laying properly. Why this is a good news, you can say? Because after a closer inspection we figured out what AI-net perfectly fit to levels geometry of one of the pre-release game builds, there are a lot more details on locations, than in release. And this means what AI-net from release locations can be directly merged with recompiled locations geometry from earlier build. As result you get a much more detailed location almost instantly. Details includes such things as breakable window glasses, technical equipment, lighting sources and many more things. It's looks like levels details had been heavily cut just before game release, and developers not even had time for recompile of location's AI-net, so they just leave it as it was. Reason of this actions is unknown, but at least we can fix this now.

Such locations with old AI-net are including Cordon, Garbage, Agroprom, Dark Valley and both undergrounds, under Agroprom and Dark Valley. Other locations are still in inspection, but as for this listed above - we're planning to include it's restored versions in our upcoming version, 0.6.9.3.

Maybe the absence of glasses has a precise motivation: one of many effects of a blowout.
And there's no glass vendor in the Zone.

Then there will be no glasses only on building sides what are perpendicular to the blowout's shockwave front. Other windows most likely must remain intact, but in original game there is no glasses at all :)

Glasses ARE on relase Cordon - building near to Fox stalker - window has little square breakable glasses :)
Always one ZIL truck on Agroprom has breakable front glass.
I don't think this is awesome discovery (is this article). Nothing is innovative in it. But yes, restoration of cutted level details and objects is nice.
