New skins for the consoles for this batte room. Simple and straightforward - offline means you need to find and insert a power cell to reactivate the server tower, then reactivate it on each respective console.

Oh - and I am aware the models 'pop' through the grate. I am under the impression I need to add a $translucency vale to the .vmt, or it may just be because I compiles on fast VVIS and VRAD for these screens.

In normal circumstances this room would be full of Novacor employees tending to the equipment, but since everyone has been either infected or killed, they are all gone or laying on the floor full of holes :P

Ya know, I wondered something, how did the infected get infected ? How does it spread, IF its airborne then how are *we* protected from infection ?!
I am curious, I heard about a lab conducting bio research in a lil place called Racoon City, the director is said to live in a mansion just on the outskirts of the city, perhaps we should send a few operatives to the residence in hopes he can help us :D Man I loved those games!

Ah - now you are asking qquestions that may reveal too much of the story...I wish I could tell you but it would be a mini-spoiler for the story. I will say that no one is immune to infection though.

Fair enough, I am abit inquisitive as it is, makes me more so when it is something I'm interested in! I would think alot of ppl are def interested in this mod, you've done really well IMO, to keep moving forward w/ so much progress, specially considering this is a solo venture!
Hopefully you are keeping track of things maybe w/ a pad/pencil or documenting on the pc, ideas, concerns, corrections etc..
Kind of like what I learned, to have a more effective Bible study in group or private to make note of questions/verses etc ..
Anyways, keep up the good work!

Thank you! I kind of keep track of things mentally, but I do have the original layouts, ideas and story progression all on paper though most of it has been changed by now. I dont mind answering questions though! I've been focusing on progress lately as opposed to tending to Moddb so replies can be slow sometimes but they will come eventually.

I'm wondering how those consoles are working, because it feels weird to me they have a huge OFFLINE message on the screen and they all switch between red and green. I mean, when you use your computer the whole screen doesn't get red when you're offline.

Agreed, but i didnt like having blank screens all over the place. The red lets you know the computer has a function, but you need to figure out how to make it work. As for these particular coputers, the 'Offline' status is referring to the server that each one is connected to. This way. the player doesnt lose which ones need to be activated after installing the plasma cube. It saves a lot of time running through pushing ;use' on every console, as there is an ongoing battle whilst the player is attempting to reactivate the servers.

computers are dumb all they know how to do is flip millions of small switch's on and off but the computer don't do that it does 0's for off 1's for on. so there just always 010101010101 or in different orders. 0000011101010111010100011000000111101
