The No More Room in Hell mod is a total conversion modification for the game Half-Life 2. It pits a small group of human players against a overwhelming horde of undead, flesh eating zombies. The mod takes place in a small mid-western city in the United States. There, the humans must try to escape the city alive by any means necessary. This means that the use of vehicles will be crucial to survival against the undead. The mod is co-op, which means that you will be playing side by side with other people from around the world to fight the zombies, which are computer controlled NPCs. Because the mod is using Half-Life 2's Source gaming engine, we hope to make this one of the scariest and most frightening mods to date. In this modification we plan to use the full extent of Half-Life 2's physics for ultimate game play. To put this in example form we have plans for a wooden bat that will break after heavy use. We here at NMRiH are proud to announce the creation of a public meeting place of sorts. This is a place in which members of our community can communicate and interact with each other on a more personal level. I would like to present the No More Room In Hell Community Ventrilo Server.

I would first like to take the time to thank a respected forum member Cleric for the generous merger of his previously owned server into what we are presenting today. We understand that Ventrilo in the past has been a popular medium in which our community members could interact. It has been used to allow members to play games together, discuss issues, hang out, as well as other things. We feel that this new server will serve the same purpose as well as some new ones.

This server will also serve the purpose of being the meeting place for the developers of this mod. As we progress in development and begin testing, we are going to need a place to communicate clearly and efficiently. It will also be a place where you can find the developers joining public areas from time to time as well. This will allow for the community to interact with the developers personally and will bridge the gap between the community and the creators.

One important note that we would like to make clear about this new server involves the people that will be allowed to use it. This server will be open to the public, and all of the public without exception in the beginning. Despite the fact that we have had problems with certain forum members in the past, we are not going to let that carry over onto this server, so you are welcome to join regardless of what went on in the past. I would like to note though that you are in control of your own destiny here and if you are just here to cause trouble, then you will not be welcomed back. We as administrators have the right to restrict access to those that may go out of their way to bring this server and its community down.

As far as regulation is concerned, the simple rules will be posted on the “Message of the Day” pop-up when you first join the server. These rules are fair and expected to be followed. As with the case with anything that is open to the public, there is always a chance of someone set out with the sole purpose of stirring up trouble. That is why we are looking for administrators that can cover each part of the day. These will be people that can be on in the mornings, others that can cover afternoons, and some for nights. So we definitely are expecting some people from other continents offering to help with this. These administrators will be there to answer questions, fix issues, and to regulate as well. If you are interested in becoming a Ventrilo admin, please send me a private message.

This new Ventrilo server is a gift from the team to our community. We feel that this will benefit the community and the team by allowing the two to openly communicate. A method in which people can stay informed when text isn’t being typed up on these forums. We would like to invite everyone to join up and help strengthen our community and make it a more enjoyable place to be.
