Nice phong on the axe! Shop looks a bit to empty though, I mean, the shelves are like, COMPLETELY empty. Hope you add on tossing a lot of junk in those shelves.
Maybe that says something. I don't know. Maybe at the time the zombie uprising was announced, everyone stole the food? If it was a mistake to make something empty, there would at least be something related on the ground, but there isn't. This seems purposeful.
This mod makes me think of L4D every second I look at it... Idle zombies, high defenition effects... This looks like it was made on the L4D engine by all means.
You realize that's because it is made on the L4D engine? Left 4 Dead uses the Source 2007 engine, as do all of the games in the Orange Box (TF2, HL2: Episode 2, Portal) Seeing as how this is a Half-Life 2 mod, it very likely uses that same version of the engine, or variation thereof.
maxx, for trying to represent the mod, youre terrible at representing the mod. Its still the source engine, regardless of updates or not its still the same source base. What binky said was a perfectly accurate response to raiders post
Bink, think of it this way, Vampire Masquerade Bloodlines was made on Valve's Source Engine. ( So you could say it was a mod in some ways.. a well done one considering they where licensed to use a OLDER version than that of the release version of HL2's engine if I remember correctly. I could easily be wrong there though. )
So yes, same engine, but different versions of the engine. You, CaptainRaider, and Maxx are all correct due to this. ( Fair amount of things cant be done in the older versions of the Source Engine. However they do use the same engine. )
Saying that it's the same engine is like saying Unreal Gold uses the same engine as Unreal Tournament 3. I mean it is, technically, but heavy upgrades and much time has gone in between them; making them almost completely different engines (though most of the basic principles are the same).
Also, blink, he said it was different. He never said it was a different engine.
EDIT: I just noticed that this comment was made almost a month ago. I feel like an idiot :P.
That's a sexy axe.
cant wait to get this axe bloody
Axe look very nice. System of skins is done on axe ? When you hurt a zombie, blood on axe.. ?
That is the plan, eventually :)
Nice plan, good luck.

As I've stated this is all work in progress. The map is not completed yet. We are still working on everything :)
Zombies are hungry.
this actually looks like a mod that will be very successful

L4D actually uses a further modified version of the OB engine, it is not the same as the OB engine.

Binky, I do know that, but L4D is an updated version. HL2 has no where near the graphic quality of the L4D version of the engine >__<
this picture realy makes me wanna stick that axe on the zombie head
Love your zombies model
