I don't think it is much of a problem. Maybe a tad more to one side but when I see someone desperately holding a weapon they don't usually hold it at the edge of their peripheral vision, but a tad off to the side nonetheless.
You might want to change it slightly but if it stays as is I am ok with it. Its exactly like the same weapon is in Postal 2 Apocalypse Weekend. ( Position, the way its being held, ect. )
I do like the way it looks though as well as the little bit of the map we can see.
One question though.. will there be some blood put on the weapon at some point? Seems a bit too clean to me. Either way though nice work.
That does not look like an idle position, more like a defensive position. But the player is about to play a shocked survivor, so it's ok, I guess.
I've seen more distracting weapons. Ever played Dark Forces with that Dark Trooper Gun that looks like a Bazooka on steroids? That beast blocked a quarter of the whole screen; you were practically blind to the right side. THAT was annoying.
Looks nice. But the knife is in the senter of the screen. Is it mainly like this?If it is mainly like that,is going to hide the action.
what an idiot.
It is idle, but keep in mind that these are all works in progress. Everything is a work in progress :)
I think you should keep it like that
Machette look good.
Why the players are there ?
(Extinguisher are a good props !)
I say move it away from center, I like being able to focus on everything in games. Don't like things blocking a lot of my screen.

off to one side or lowered.
I would imagine he's holding it across himself like that to be ready to parry off an attack.
That's no knife... that's an iron rod :O
To thick to be a knife.
An iron rod with a blade and handle..?
