This is a total conversion of Sins of a Solar Empire. five new playble races will be introduced each with differing play styles and apearances. The focus of this mod will be small and large scale fleet stratagy and empire building.

ok sorry for the lack of detail but these ships are ment to look like one peice of metal so they will look kinda bland untextured

If you did some actual renders these pictures would look better. Right now it's kinda hard to tell how the ship looks because of the odd light sources. I do like what I can see though.

Description

The Archer is the Cybernetic races long range attack ship firing a directed energy blast consisting of ionized gases also known as plasma. the ships main weapon fires a bolt of plasma in a magnetic field over massive distances. this weapon is yet another Cybernetic marvel as whilst making plasma is not much of an achievment, firing it over such massive distances is since without the proper magnetic field all u get is a very short range and underpowered space flamethrower as the plasma disapate rapidly. The fact that these ships can create and maintian the powerful magnetic fields is astonishing, the range of this weapon whilst not on the same level as a longbows bow gun, it is still an effective long range weapon. However due to the extremly delecate and somtime unstable nature of the main weapon the ship has very little armour and tends to explode into a briliant ball of plasma when destroyed, often warming the hearts of the U.C.I ships sent to engage them, somtimes refering to them as blazers (or more improperly blue balls).
