Description

developed around the middle of the 25th century the Mark 4 Longbow is one of the T.E.F's most succesful vessles, Cheaper to make then a Dreadnoght, combined with T.E.F C-12 O-16 fusion engines, tough shields, heavy armour and an extremly powerful main gun, this vessle makes up the bulk of the T.E.F's fleet. The main feature on this Cruiser its main gun which when first built had the longest range of any ship, able to easily rip an enemy ship in half before they even had time to get near. Despite the new helios class having a much longer range then the Longbow, the longbows main gun has a much stronger magnetic field meaning that the projectile will hit with a much higher inertia when fired. The mark 4 despite having been in service for almost 30 years is showing no signs of becoming outdated any time soon and is expected to continue to see service for much of the 26th century
