This mod takes the Medieval Europe KofH to sec. 18 where the Seven Years' War is the new conflict that takes the whole Europe.The possibilities of gameplay makes possible a KofH esperience unique in terms of war in real time. Muskets of Honor gameplay makes this a possibility almost of a new game with new units and relationships between the nations of the original game.

I'm proud to announce that the mod is in its final stages and i have a date to launch the final version.

After almost three years of development, Muskets Of Honor have finally come to an end. Is a great joy for me 'cause is my first mod.

So...the date... As the war between Britain and France had been formally declared on 18 May and begun the seven years war i have decided to post the final version on 18 May.

Congrats on the mod! It looks very completed. But yet I have some questions and requests.
Can you improve the AI? That's a common problem of KoH. The game is wonderful but it's too easy. Last night I spent 4 hours on hard difficulty with Prussia on my first game and managed to unite Germany. I have to admit the first 3 of them were quite enjoyable as I had to defend myself against the combined attacks of Austria, Poland, Sweden and Denmark but when I signed peace with them I very easily conquered the provinces required for the unification of Germany.
Speaking of that in the description of the German quest there is a province named Franconia but there isn't one on the actual map. Would you remove it from the description so people won't be confused by it?
Also, does the engine allow to add grapeshot fire to cannons? It would be great if you are able to do so!
I find it really strange that the united state of Germany has the Polish flag and that Prussia is a Duchy in the late 18th century.
Another question is would you add friedrich William II as a n heir to Friedrich the Great? He was not his son but was heir presumptive and eventually rose to the throne.

About the AI improvement...i really don't know how to edit it. I've been searching for information about it, but with the foruns and sites of the game offline, is getting quite difficult.
About "Franconia" is in fact Hesse, i have changed that already for the new mod version. And the problem with the unify Germany is that is a very strange number, a code, that the game use for the flag change, and i have not a clue who to break sutch code so i can chose the right flag. And last, the Prussian dynasty. The fact that Frederick William II was not Frederick II son makes him not "usable" in the game. Thanks for playing!

I see. Have you changed the code about the birth rate of heirs? I had a few rulers and they all had 1 child each...

For the flags thing a guy told me how to do it after I beat my head against the wall for months:

Ornament color = 12 ----> hex value 0C
Shield color 1 ----> hex value 01
Shield = 14 ----> hex value 0E

Then you combine them 0C010E, remove the first 0, and then make the hexadecimal C010E to decimal ---> 786702
However, not all the colors work because some are the same and they do not change the flag at all (for example 917770).

I have a question myself, how do I make new units? I mean I know how, (edit the my.unit file, train units.txt, units.txt files but the game always crashes upon start screen. I tried using your mod, same thing. It just doesn't accept my new units. What am I doing wrong?)

Also, under "some are the same" I meant that some hexadecimals return the same numbers, thus, making them not working. The example of 917770 is both used by Bulgaria and France, so you cannot make the France or Bulgarian flag. However, you CAN change the lilies or lions to be a different yellow color (and get a new 6 digit number which hopefully is only 1 and does not stack with others).
