Mideast Crisis 2] (MEC2) is a total conversion for 'Command and Conquer 3 - Tiberium Wars' set in the near future, letting you use modern technology (such as the Abrams, F-35 and Hind) alongside future technology (such as Drones, Airships and Medibots) in a conflict ranging from Jerusalem to Beirut.
Description
This is the final release of 'Mideast Crisis 2' which adds in the UN Peacekeepers as a playable faction, 2 new maps and many other minor changes. Please remember that C&C3 MUST be fully patched for MEC2 to work. Also make sure to select the proper C&C3 folders and mod folder location. i think too many people are downloading it at the same time XD getting a 410 error from the server
I'm unable to download I get "Duplicate headers received from server" from gamefront and "410 - Gone" from moddb

why when I'm in the settings of trying to graphics put above, the game crashes with an error?
was somebody with such a error?
You can change some settings in MEC2, others you'll need to go into normal C&C3...edit them there then load MEC2 again (it'll keep them). We tried to fix it but C&C3 is annoying like that.
Also, if you get the odd polygon graphical error...load CNC3 up and change model Lod to low.

i cannot acess it! i load it and it just loads regular C&C 3 :(
for me too,loads regular c&c 3,not the mod.
Do a full uninstall of any MEC2 files and then run the installer again.
Then launch via the MEC2 desktop shortcut.

MEC2 needs to be run from the desktop shortcut, or the mod launcher from the cnc3 menu (pop the disk out, then back in...that one that pops up [forget the method for steam users, something about -ui tag afaik]).
If the shortcut isn't working, then it either; 1) isn't linked to the proper mod files location or 2) isn't linked to the proper cnc3.exe location. Almost always the problem is the first.

Are your cnc3.exe and mec2_1.0.skudef files actually in those locations?
Is CNC3 fully patched? (mods do not work at all on earlier non-patched versions of cnc3)
yes the files are there.
it was patched to 1.04 , after reading your post i've downloaded and installed the 1.09 patch, now when i try the desktop icon i receive this message "Conflict with Emulation Software detected."
Have no idea what that error is...but our answer is the same. If MEC2 doesn't run it means 1) you aren't patched or 2) the shortcut isn't pointing to the right location for the cnc3.exe and mec2_1.0.skudef
There is no other reason for it not to run.

Does this have Skirmish mode? If so, when I start a skirmish, the game instantly ends and I'm victorious. I know I'm not THAT good :)
It should work fine...you're playing on the MEC2 maps right? Also, I don't think its a problem anymore but if you have enemy as 'random' I know in past beta's it caused issues...setting the as a specific faction might solve it. First I've heard of this issue though.
Getting random crashes to desktop. Good 20 minutes into a skirmish and it just crashes. Anyone ever experience this or know whats going on?

To anyone having problems installing it on the Steam version:
Properties -> launch options -> copy paste simply the direction that the mod exe has, that counts for basically every mod to do it like that. For example:
"E:\STEAM\steamapps\common\Command and Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars\CNC3.exe" -modConfig "C:\Users\MyNameIsTooCool\Documents\Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars\mods\MEC2\MEC2_1.0.skudef"
