Mideast Crisis 2] (MEC2) is a total conversion for 'Command and Conquer 3 - Tiberium Wars' set in the near future, letting you use modern technology (such as the Abrams, F-35 and Hind) alongside future technology (such as Drones, Airships and Medibots) in a conflict ranging from Jerusalem to Beirut.
Simple to learn, hard to master mod! Mideast crisis is a RTS mod featured less on structure and harvesting rush and more on taking, holding and attacking points, the fuel system is excellent as it reduce the chance you can rush mass tank force as easily as the vanilla game. Cash point and collecting recourses makes it harder for anybody to sit tight and wait for money to cash in, you basically have to fight your way into hostile areas, massive buildings garrison with infantry and constantly bombarded and heavily defended position just to take a single cash point
I felt satisfied that there more close quarter fighting which using tanks is a big no no in urban ares which houses anti tank and anti infantry garrison. Its a lot harder to play as Guardian of Islam, which they lack anti garrison unit, so far i see. The team who made MidEast Crisis 2 made full use on the C&C 3 Engine, everything that should look right got better with high shader and strong bloom detail. Oh yes I can go all day telling how wonderful this game is. And how quickly the battle can turn tides, good details and strong multiplayer concept.
I wish to have some constructive criticism on the mod.The voice of Guardian of Islam is also somewhat lack of personality. Maps are somewhat felt smaller and tighter. These are the few minor problem for such a good mod.
