It is the game mechanic itself unless..... each ship were (going off of Star Wars Empire at War modding information) the ships woul d have to me be like the corvettes... but regardless the Mod will be AMAZING!!!!

Iv'e seen this with other mods, it IS possible to conver Sins mods over to SW EAW FOC mods, but it's a tricky process, and i doubt many people would do that. But if that was done then yes the ships would fire but the mod would be for SW EAW FOC and not sins

Onto serious stuff: I think you should set the distance of the weapons a little further away. The ships are very bunched up with their enemies for what is basically railgun tech.

We don't have a coder guy yet at least a full time one, but all the ships are using their sins equivalent weapons right now because i suck at code. when we get to testable alpha haha maybe.

I tried the alpha build of Stargate Invasion for Rebellion and I noticed that all ships fly into the targets they attack its annoying as ****. Is that something you can fix with coding and stuff? I wouldnt want that to happen in this mod.

it's actually amazingly simple Set. all u need to do is adjust some values in a notepad document for the ships, u can google how to do it. I have no experience coding whatsoever and it was easy. i'm not sure if u can adjust things like weapon range but i had my ships flying at about 1 million miles a second with 1-hit kill weapons. Unikraken knows how looking at his comment.

The weapons distance could be fixed by down-scaling ships (will cause some mess-up in other particle effects that would need the same scaling), and the ships could be set to move like fighters or corvettes with each class having a set speed. The down-scaled units would also make it looking more realistic thinking about the ship-sizes compared to the planet sizes.

I'm excited for this, I'm curious if the smaller ship sizes do equate into less cpu, gpu usage then vanilla rebellion ships? I was wondering because I managed to get close to about 400 or so ships in battle(and countless fighter/bomber squads) into battle in some random sun before my computer decided to die. I just want to recreate that battle for earth at the end of ME3.

Awesome. Really looking forward for this. I can't help but think that this would look really fantastic if the Infinite Space mod was integrated for the Planet scales and textures. Even with the Weapons and FTL Animations still a little stock SOSER the mod looks truly amazing and it is a testimony to the hard work the team has put into it.

We hope to see our suggestion in the final product :P
But as a hint, it is I, Andromeda who made that really big post with those suggestions and I think one of them was accepted.

But, I feel as if Cerberus shouldn't be able to spam/create that many cruisers/frigates. IMO they should have a less population cap and slightly more powerful ships than the Council. (Somebody I was talking to brought up the idea of Cerberus being a pirate faction)
And the ship sizes need to be decreased and the combat ranges increased. That's all I have an issue with at the moment. But other than that, I love what I see.

Can't wait to play as the Council! :D
