The reapers have returned from dark space. With Earth under attack and the mass relays in a state of chaos from refugees and the councils fleet engaging reaper forces the galaxy is a mess. The outcome is unknown, the warfare is devastating. The galaxy will never be the same.

It would be much more logical to move those 2 things to the corners. It's just plain stupid to slap it in the middle of the screen where all the action is taking place. The "art" itself tho, is top notch!

To be fair there are plenty of RTS games that have the menus in the middle. You really wont miss too much action with it right there. It'd be different if it was in the straight center of the screen.

Due to the limitations of sins it is more difficult then it looks to move the UI to the corner of the screen, it is the main reason why pretty much all sins mods (that i know of anyway) have the UI more centered.

So I guess that making several versions of the mod with different UIs for different resolutions is kind of out of the question? At least that's the only solution that I can think of that would seem to get around this issue.

And yes I don't like the UI in the center either but if it's too difficult to put it in the corners than I guess I'll have to play the game with the UI in the middle.

Sins UI is pixel specific, meaning if he were to mash them to the sides anyone not using a 1080p monitor wouldn't be able to see them correctly. Most of us are now setting UI items to default to 1366x768. Meaning if your monitor is still 1024x768 you need to upgrade.

I also think that the previous one was the better one. However i havent actually played with it, so maybe this one work great when you get used to it, cant really say at this point.

Description

Bornstellar had some legit points which were taken into consideration when designing this. No longer cramped and suitable Cerberus HUD.
