The reapers have returned from dark space. With Earth under attack and the mass relays in a state of chaos from refugees and the councils fleet engaging reaper forces the galaxy is a mess. The outcome is unknown, the warfare is devastating. The galaxy will never be the same.

the one cerberus finds cut a swath in the planet it was aimed at, took up half the surface from diameter.

its powerful enough to rip apart a Covenant Carrier.

but it is ancient, older than even the Inusannon who came before the protheans.

when I placed it up, It was to say Cerberus has one now, the mod includes it. and it is true your frigate can shred the dreadnoughts, but its equal to half the power of your frigates.

and yours are 400 years into the timeline, imagine if the ME line was at the same time as yours was. it would have more firepower.

im not gonna get into a fanboy war again. the last 2 I won was bittersweet.

also I love the Halo Fleets and designs.

Nope it won't. Cyclonic barriers are strong but no way they are that strong. And given torpedo's slow speed they will be intercepted by the frigate's PDG'S log before they can get close to it..

Lockerd Oct 24 2012, 2:51am replied:

actually the codex has the torpedoes as name sake only, they are very fast, too fast to have a PDG lock on, not to mention the sheer numbers, and Cyclonic Barriers can Stop 1 mac round but would be nearly useless afterwards.

however due to many weapons on one Alliance cruiser it can wipe out 10 UNSC Frigates while still being operational after some moderate to severe damage, an Alliance Cruiser up against say a Halcyon class can dish out some serious firepower and faster than a Halcyon could.

In the time it takes for a Halcyon to fire 2 shots, an alliance cruiser would have gotten off 5 shots not including the broadside weapons and gardian defenses.

however the sheer force of 1 mac round can decimate an alliance cruiser if placed well and true, but due to fast maneuverability the alliance cruiser could most likely move the sensitive spots away from the line of fire and avoid too much damage.

rkraptor70 Oct 25 2012, 1:33am replied:

Extract from the Codex:
In flight, torpedoes use a mass-increasing field, making them too massive for enemy kinetic barriers to repel. Because extra mass retards acceleration, torpedoes are easy prey for defensive GARDIAN weapons and must therefore be launched at extremely close range to be effective.

If they can be intercepted by GARDIAN PDG'S can take them out relatively easily due to AI guidance.

And no Alliance Cruiser can't go wipe out 10 UNSC Frigates or a Halcyon. In case of either scenario it will be either wiped out with the 100+ (1000+ in case of 10 Frigates) Standard archer thermonuclear missile volley or will be Mac rounded while it is trying to evade them.
It's broadside cannons would be useless against Halcyon's Heavy armor (The ship can even survive an atmospheric entry in one piece!) and Frigates are fast enough to simple evade them.

I have to say that the Destiny Ascension would kick any UNSC ship out of the sky and might give a moderately large covenant ship some trouble.

Dude have you see the main gun on the Destiny, that could rib sovereign in two if it wasn't for destroying life around it as we know it..Though I think the Covernant Super and Assault Carriers could quite easily defeat the Ascension.

I-Threnna Nov 30 2012, 5:00pm replied:

To answer a little extra to the arguments above, remember that many UNSC ships contain AI's, which gives them a tactical advantage (not saying it will make them badass, just better than before).

And you forgot to mention the U.N.S.C. Infinity, the largest ship in the U.N.S.C. fleet. It is almost 3 times the size of Sovereign (5.6 kilometers from front to back [yes, I've read about it and I enjoy it]) and packs a massive punch, including 10 other U.S.N.C. Frigates that it can deploy at any given time. 4 Series-8 Mass Driver Cannons, Archer/Howler/Rapier missile systems, AND it also has 2 Energy Projectors (ALIAS Covenant Glassing Beam) at it's front, plus Advanced Shielding. So I think the Infinity would do some serious damage before going down ^^

If they did the Reapers and Covenant would be over powered drastically, I mean the Covenant should be allowed access to the Super carrier and Assault Carrier and well let me remind you, the Super Carrier is as big as around 20+ Sovereign class reapers, and the Assault Carrier are nearly the same size, with more weapons and properly better armour, and the UNSC would be out gunned by both, Cerberus would pwn, the Council would be out gunned as well.

I'm a vs debater (my creditation is destroyed when I say I'm from spacebattles) and us at spacebattles have come to the conclusion that while the unsc can't take the reapers and win the reapers also can't take the unsc and win and it therefore becomes a draw.

As for Cerberus. Well ONI's much worse they just make sure that they have. A very good reason for the things they do before they do it. One of the worst things was either the SII program or when they experimented with the flood that one time.

The covenant assualt carrier is around 5.5 KM while the super carrier is around 29KM both of which are larger than your average soveriegn reaper. And the infinity is 5.6 KM.

To be honest though if I were to do a battle with halo and ME in it I would have the UNSC and the Covenant on one side while the citedel and the reapers on the other
