The Maelstrom Mod introduces four new races to the Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion Universe. They are independent of the original races and have unique strengths and weaknesses. Maelstrom is available for Rebellion, Diplomacy, Entrenchment and Original Sins.

So your removing the models that as far as I can tell came from a Battlestar Galactica mod and adding in your own.
All I can say is well done, I was sick of looking at those BSG ships.
Though I liked the BSG models they were a bit out of place
Seems a bit.... fat to be a thunderbolt.
i agree the name thunderbolt isn't really fitting for a ship that broad, it looks kinda tanky, but thats good for a siege ship. another things, the compartments seems a bit too much up front, too exposed i guess. If they were a bit more to the back, the armor plating would make more sense, but it could be my lack of perception. Either way, great model, perfect for the siege role
I'm willing to change the names of Capitialships ... any suggestions?

Well it's a siege class...so people would probly want a name that also SOUNDS heavy and built for destruction. In my opinion it will still have to be related to the other "epic" names (Galactica, Excelsior, Excalibur). Luckily I keep a list of shipnames I came up with or/and found in other games. Few suggestions on my part;
If you're going for a slow, destructive ship I'd suggest.
- Leviathan Battlecruiser
- Equinox Battlecruiser
- Nemisis Battlecruiser
- Hyperion Battlecruiser
If you're going for a fast, destructive ship, I'd suggest
- Daemon Battlecruiser
- Dauntless Battlecruiser
- Invictus Battlecruiser
