The Maelstrom Mod introduces four new races to the Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion Universe. They are independent of the original races and have unique strengths and weaknesses. Maelstrom is available for Rebellion, Diplomacy, Entrenchment and Original Sins.

Umm......you might want to change the bridge texture a bit. For a warship it has way too many windows(The same goes for the dreadnought).

The only problem with the windows is ... it cost a fortune to keep them clean.

personally i like the battlestars. able to dish out nukes and fighters its a hybrid battleship/starfighter carrier hence battlestar. it looks great

Why not change the fighters/bombers instead?
The TA fighter/bombers have been changed, i.e all BSG models have been removed.
So much for Raptor being the TA Corvette in Rebellion.
Really going to miss those Vipers though.
definitely my favorite model. I only hope that frontal canon is gunna pack a lot of punch even though it's a carrier, it would be nice to know it can stand a descent fight. Also wondering, will the carrier be able to attack fighters as a way to support it's fighters?

the only reason people think the BSG ones are better is cuz they like the show or they feel the name Trade Alliance is bound to it, i bet most of them arent even looking at the details of these models. Atleast these models actually have turrets on 'em and the details are a lot better than the BSG ones. It would however be nice to make a second download containing all BSG files so people could still play that if they wish...and if not, better get some modding skills

yeah i see the problem..but on the other hand, i don't think people would mind only the CAPS being BSG while the frigates/cruisers are ur design (even tho applicability is affected). But I shouldn't really talk for what the BSG fans want, I like the current designs way more, just laying down an idea for all the we-want-bsg-back spam on each pic. (yes i know this post could be considered one)
After the Frigate/Cruiser update the BSG ships started to lose applicability. Its just going to take time to get used to.
Maybe we'll get lucky and see Colonial Cruisers and Frigates in Blood and Chrome.
Looking Through your screenshots. I think its pretty cool that you're finally using original models for the Trade Alliance and mot Battlestar Galactica models
