The Maelstrom Mod introduces four new races to the Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion Universe. They are independent of the original races and have unique strengths and weaknesses. Maelstrom is available for Rebellion, Diplomacy, Entrenchment and Original Sins.

I dont really use the frigate factory i just build a few ships then replicate them over and over and over and over again. may wanna increase the antimater cost or the cooldown time for that.
There economy is not as strong as the other races ... balance
Yeah but i have had encounters where a replicator fleet shows up on my door and then just mass replicates once the ability is available and its suddenly so one sided cause the replicas replicate and so on and so on. i understand they are "replicators" but could there be a side effect to the replicating like a hull point loss due to split the metal or something or maybe like they are inert for a while and their shields may be down.
Replicators will only 'replicate' up to their current researched fleet logistics. They also have a relatively long cooldown. When you understand both limitations then you have a workaround ... i.e don't attack an advanced Replicator fleet without a large/larger fleet.
