The Maelstrom Mod introduces four new races to the Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion Universe. They are independent of the original races and have unique strengths and weaknesses. Maelstrom is available for Rebellion, Diplomacy, Entrenchment and Original Sins.

- Fighters good at taking out bombers, long range frigates, siege frigates and lightly armored targets.
- Bombers good at taking out heavy cruisers, structures, capital ships and well armored targets.

Hey i noticed that nowadays the bombers aren't really effective anymore against the large dreadnaught and titan class warships. Mind putting in a research upgrade that give them more firepower to cope with these larger targets because we only get so few dreadnaughts and titans that if one shows up at a planet and we dont have one of our own to defend we are hosed.
Strikecraft and their balancing is very important in Sins. I wouldn't want to change this without a lot of testing and also I don't want to change the original races balancing for the same reasons.
what about adding specialized fighter craft that each dreadnaught and titan uses that are made for taking out the dreadnaughts and titans of other races?
Unfortunately there are no options for such a "specialized" stikecraft ... not even in Rebellion (so far that is)
