Yup, I always felt like STALKER was lacking something, and after I saw A. Tarkovsky's Stalker I found out what... nature :D, like nature taking back the place, so far all of the STALKERs were almost barren, but these guys have the right idea here :D.

Anyone here has any idea why the hell does STALKER SoC stutter like crazy in the Army Warehouse area?

Kept searching but nothing pops up but some faulty patches, and since I tried 1.0004 and 1.0005 and same stuff.

Oh yea..., tried allot of stuff actually (updating the OpenAL32.dll, fiddling with the EAX, increasing the audio cache, updating with each individual patch, older video drivers and audio ones etc.) nothing seems to do the trick, and only that blasted level, the actually interesting thing is, even though it stutters like a madman I never get the ''out of memory crash'' so it's something that's happening ONLY on that God damn map ^^.

Oh and I've ''beaten'' STALKER more than 7 times on this exact same system setup, and now all of a sudden... both modded and vanilla, both FDL and Static Lighting, same crap.

I hope nothing like this happens with Lost Alpha.

I have the same thing! It started only on this playhtrough, and I have no idea why. I have installed absolute texture packs (both of them) and argus living creatures textures, with, also, u3shaders 2.1. If you have any of them, that would explain which thing causes us that lag on AW level.

Both Argus' packs. Float32 and Skf4ce 1.something, besides insignificant ones like Oblivion Lost 2.2 with panoramic mod and Absolut Nature pack.

That's basically it.

Could be Argus, but I had it installed on my every playthru 'till now and none of this crap has happened before :/.

Oh and the first time I noticed this crap, was when I was playing Complete mod (which to my knowledge uses Argus packs also).

I've noticed the same thing while playing on 8800GTS. Now with GTX295 it's gone. It happened especially when looking in certain direction e.g. looking from the entry to Radar towards the Bar. I remember (vaguely) lowering object detail helped.

Screenshot is awesome - we can see opened part of house on last level.
Can you add sounds of winds in trees and grass? That is little thing, but it will make the addon ultra realistic in atmsosphere!

we always planned to do MORE than a simple alpha remake. la is already more than a remake since early 2010 when we started to extend the base. of course there will be lots of new items, but as for weapons, we keep the amount of the vanilla game + the usual 3-4 wpns which were supposed to be in.
