A fearsome armada of aliens is descending upon the city of Arteria, hell-bent on devouring every last thing in their path. You are one of them.

Take control of an alien Drone and soar through the sky-high city of Arteria while protecting your Leviathan Mothership, destroying enemy fighters, turrets, and structures along the way. Collect energy cores from fallen enemies and feed them to the Leviathan to heal it. Then watch in awe as it devours entire buildings.

Leviathan is a 3rd person flying-shooter total conversion for UT3. This is the capstone project of a group of 17 dedicated students from the SMU Guildhall, and the culmination of nearly 5 months of development.

Please check out our game and let us know what you think. Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Introducing Leviathan

News

Hello everyone!

We here at I'll Form The Head Studios just decided its about time we started to pimp this new game of ours, being that we are almost finished it...

We have just reached our Beta milestone and we are currently hard at work testing, bug fixing, and polishing so we can be ready for Release next week. I'll try and get some more info up about the game pretty quick, but for now enjoy some of these screen shots from our beta:

You can expect to see our trailer later this week as well.

Also, If you are in or around the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and would like to see Leviathan early, come and join us at the Guildhall Exhibition on Friday, May 15. We will be showing our game, as well as many other games and projects we have worked on in our time at SMU Guildhall. I also hear our rival team will be showing their UT3 mod, The Chronos Project (which doesn't have a ModDB page yet) as well. So come on down to cheer us on and heckle them. (Just kidding, its looking awesome).

Address And Directions

Cheers!

I've tried it...I like the concept but I use the Xbox 360 controller and when flying at the top near the huge leviathan control seems ok, but when diving lower to those large structures the screen starts to spin uncontrollably. Just what the heck is going on here?

He was correct. It was originally supposed to be the 20th, but I was having problems uploading it, so I changed it to the 26th. I ended up getting it up a couple days sooner though, so now it is "officially" the 24th ;)

Thanks! It's more like parts of Starfox 64, in that you aren't quite on rails, but I think Rez and Panzer Dragoon were part of the inspiration for it. We wanted it to feel like more of an arcade style shooter. Lot's of bullets flying, lot's of stuff to blow up, etc...
