Legend of the Toa is total conversion mod for TES V Skryim set in the popular Bionicle universe, originally created by Lego. For the first time in the history of Bionicle, this mod will give the players a chance to experience the unique and entrancing world of Bionicle in an open-world environment. The mod will focus on the first year of Bionicle and will feature the big and mystical island of Mata Nui, with its diverse landscapes, ranging from lush jungle to vast deserts, snowy mountains, huge caverns and lava rivers.
The player will be able to create and take control of his own Toa, one of the six legendary warriors, who were sent to Mata Nui to protect the Matoran, the innocent inhabitants of the island, from the great evil endangering them - Makuta.
The mod will offer everything you would expect from a Bionicle mod for Skyrim: The completely free to explore island of Mata Nui, unique elemental powers for each Toa, masks of power and an epic quests to save the island!
I noticed that many of you asked the same questions, and not to respond to everyone, I will answer directly to most of them.
Seeing how they are many open questions about the mod you are all probably asking yourself, here is a FAQ to answer most of them.

Simply replaces Skyrim logo with 3d Bionicle logo (symbol of the Three Virtues) in Skyrim main menu.
Replaces regular Chaurus Flier from Dawnguard DLC with new textures and modified skeleton, making them look like Nui Rama (both orange and limegreen)
Long-waited playable Toa Races. Contains all six basic Toa Races, their armor, weapons and six great kanohi masks!
Contains weapons of first Toa (Tahu, Gali, Lewa, Kopaka, and Onua).

I am back after 4 years. The mod is clearly not yet finished (lol) but I was hoping I could just replace the skyrim enemies/humans with other bionicle. Is that even possible?
I installed the races and weapon addons using Nexus, but it just crashes when before the main menu. what am I doing wrong?

Don't worry about the lack of activity visible on the site, the developers tend to go long periods of time before announcing anything. During these periods, they still work on the project. In the mean time, just remain patient. If it interests you, you can join the beta for the newest version of the Toa Races. Just head over to their blogspot and download the zip.file.

It's just that this mod looks like it has much potential , are you one of the devs?
For starters I think it would be cool to replace all models with Bionicle characters , using a lego program to build and then export the models could be a way to do it.

No, I am not one of the devs, simply a fan who occasionally comes across the site.
However, I do like the idea of replacing all of the npcs with matoran. So far, they have a build on hand. I'm not too sure it's completely finished.
They seem to have a combination of official and custom parts rendered to put together the models for rahi and the like. So I don't believe they need a program for that. I could be wrong.
