Features

  • A dark, epic storyline set across multiple worlds.
    Awakened in the TES purgatory, you are tasked by a Primordial being to scour the realms of Oblivion to destroy the 16 Daedric Lords, and assemble the Heart of Lorkhan. What you choose to do and how you do it is up to you.
  • Multiple, fully realized worlds and environments to explore. Scour the Oblivion realms, the remnants of Battlespire, and the Dreamsleeve, the home of the abandoned dead in an epic dark tale that will challenge you at every step.
  • Unique and memorable boss encounters with challenging mechanics. Engage in one-on-one combat with the 16 Daedric Lords. An encounter with a Daedric lord is a grueling but rewarding experience. But they are not the only threat, other powerful beings will inhabit these worlds.
  • Fully voice acted quests and side quests with memorable NPC's and storylines.
  • Unique Daedric artifacts, spells and weapons. An arsenal of unique artifacts with special effects, abilities, creature summons and transformations awaits you. Employ these to your advantage as the world will prove to be an unforgiving place.

This story makes quite a lot of sense to me, as the Heart of Lorkhan is supposed to be connected to the world. I've always thought that the Nerevarine simply banished it from the physical plane when he struck the heart with the tools, I mean come now... if over two dozen nigh-omnipotent deities couldn't destroy the heart what makes you think some tools made by mortals could?

Thank God! May the true modders, those who make for fun and love, continue to think like this. I don't want to see my beloved community become another sh*t monetary arm of these companies of today that want to milk every single coin out of everything.

That wasn't meant to be a political statement, monetization isn't feasible for our project. Personally, i think Creation Club has potential. I don't see what's so ludicrous about authors being compensated for their work. There's a lot of hyperbole going around on this subject.

Di0, i hear you man. The problem i see, in my opinion, is that paid mods will affect modding community. Why? How many mods out there are "just" one guy putting 120 different mods to work together without conflict? (better climate, better textures, more immersion, etc in one single file) This will not be possible anymore since it will violate the creation club.

Just my opinion, anyway. Keep it up the good work, my friend.

Thanks. Although what do you mean about free mods violating CC? They're not allowing the use of already released mods to be sold on their system. They will be contracting people to make the content for them. So all the stuff they release will be newly developed.

Di0, what i mean is that none can use a mod from the CC, or have the resources, to create a pack or new mod for free.

Let me give you an example, let's say that you want to use a resource from Skywind, all you have to do is talk to them, if they agree, you are good to go! However, imagine that Skywind is on CC. It's paid, and you will not be able to use any resources and releasing for free without bethesda coming out for you and stoping the mod, because now it will use "official" resources.
(An example of this is the mod for "Mount and Blade: Skyrim",they have used official resources and the game was forced to cease any activity. This will extended to the mods created and put on the CC, since now they are official.)

I am already seen pirated mods... God forbid.

That's a fair point, although i see the amount of mods released on that thing will be negligible compared to the volume of the free content the community creates.

I hope you are right, also hoping that mods like yours or Skywind/Skyblivion continue to be free, with an option for donation for the marvelous work that goes direct to the moders, not a company that wants to milk a game to death.

Personally I think it could help support modders in tough situations. Providing that the modders benefit more from it than the studio, I think the main issue people have with this is that they're worried this means all mods must be paid for. I could be wrong though, but I believe that's the reason.
