Our goal is to bring into focus the Legacy Era, but more specifically the Second Imperial Civil War. Play as either the tyrannical Krayt Empire, freedom-seeking Galactic Alliance Remnant or the obscure Confederation Revenant.

Showing off some particles I've had for a while. The explosion at the end is the newest, I think I'm close to perfecting explosions after all this time.
looks great. only thing I could suggest is maybe that the explosion drags out just a tiny bit too long but then again i'm no explosion expert.
Interesting, I was actually worried that it didn't last long enough haha! Perhaps that means it is just right then, by taking the middle-ground between our two concerns.
Seems fine to me. Good quality, but not too intense as to needlessly drag on the engine.
I was thinking the particle lasted just long enough it just felt to me like the actual explosion took to long to fully expand. After watching it again though it's probably just there where it needs to be. The lack of gravity in space would probably change the time it takes for things like that to move. Then again I'm no space expert, either. Can't really criticize something like this because I haven't got much experience working with particles. Either way, looks great. Probably the best I've seen in any mod.
How do you control the camera angles in cinematic mode anyway? whenever I move the mouse or press any keys it goes back to normal view
hold the mouse over the unit you want to have in the center and then press C. then move the camera around with the mouse and wheel. press spacebar to go back to normal.

Yeah, quite a nice explosion. Good work.
There seems to be a delay between the explosion, and the sparks/ruble that shoots outwards, I think if you would remove the delay, it'd look a lot more...boomy, where as now it looks like fireworks, pretty, but not a "real" explosion. Just my 5 cents.

Now if only you managed to stop the triangle ships from turning, this would be close to perfect :D

or cant you do that, i remember that you dont make models, i think that also means that you cant make deathclones, but i dont really know... thats the reason for my question xD

I really love the little red laser sparks all around the ship which is fired at, they look fantastic! I agree with Geroenimo on the time frame of the explosion and the little sparks floating around. However this is some excellent and outstanding work!
Even if the gameplay would be a piece of crap, I would defently play this only to see the awesome details and the great graphic effects. Superb Work :) Greetings Wookie
