Duplicity-class Battle Carrier image - Legacy Era: Second Imperial Civil War mod for Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption
Our goal is to bring into focus the Legacy Era, but more specifically the Second Imperial Civil War. Play as either the tyrannical Krayt Empire, freedom-seeking Galactic Alliance Remnant or the obscure Confederation Revenant.
Today we continue our vocabulary lesson with the noun Duplicity: Deliberate deceptiveness in behavior or speech.
The Duplicity-class Battle Carrier is a further iteration of the Galactic Alliance's Galactic-class Battle Carrier from the Second Galactic Civil War. They were not produced on a large scale, though still found use against the Confederation then. Now its descendant is being used against the Alliance instead, betraying its creators in an act of duplicity.
The new Duplicity-class carries a variety of weapons to counter all possible kinds of enemies: eight dual disruptor cannons, two disruptor torpedo launchers, four heavy plasma mortars, and two heavy mass drivers. It's most powerful weapons are the four proton-beam projectors (remember that proton cannons are some ofthe most powerful weapons in the galaxy?). Is it overpowered? No, actually. It is very expensive, plus it is larger than the Pellaeon, Scythe, and Firestorm. It is available at level four, but is still weaker than an Imperious Star Destroyer.
And of course it holds many fighters-four squadrons each of Davaab and Phoebos Interceptors, and YT-7200 Bombers. It also holds three squadrons of Bes'uliik Bombers.

Haha, don't worry, they most certainly will have a fair shot. The CR will have several limitations to prevent them from being overpowered, such as prices, build times, and build locations, to name a few.

How many fighters and bombers in a squadron? just curious.
For the sake of gameplay, the squadrons will only have from 3 to 6 or 7 fighters, depending on the ships, since the game can't divide the squadrons into flights of 3 or 4. Bombers will usually have 3 or 4, while fighters and interceptors will have 5 or more.

Galaxy class is closed related with this duplicity. If duplicity sign twice volume than Imperator SD , it has in Axis length 2020 meters and width & height proportional larger than ISD 1& 2.
