Defiance-class Heavy Carrier image - Legacy Era: Second Imperial Civil War mod for Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption
Our goal is to bring into focus the Legacy Era, but more specifically the Second Imperial Civil War. Play as either the tyrannical Krayt Empire, freedom-seeking Galactic Alliance Remnant or the obscure Confederation Revenant.
Before I describe it, I would like to ask if there is anyone who could help me with this ship-you may notice it is missing a bumpmap texture, which would really make it look better. I don't know how to make or apply one, and thus I'm incapable of doing so. If you'd like to help me out with this, please contact me.
Okay, let's get on with this.
The Defiance has elements that are both Corellian and Bothan. This class is an early neo-Confederate model, and thus does not match the other capital ships of the Revenant technologically. It is the weakest of the CR's main capital ships (that is, if you consider "weak" to be the equivalent of about an ISD Mk 1). It cannot stand up long against more modern designs, or even the Alliance's old Defender/Nebula-class SDs. If necessary, the shields can be boosted at the expense of speed and firepower. The main weapons are the six heavy turbolasers and four heavy mass drivers, while its four plasma torpedo launchers and four heavy ion cannons are its secondary weapons. For point-defense purposes it also is armed with two point-defense mass drivers. Being a carrier, it naturally holds many fighters and bombers. Contained within the ship are six B734 Invader squadrons, five Besh Bomber squadrons, and four MAF-300 squadrons. This ship is not the best-it's only a level 1 capital ship-and since it is an older design from before the reformation of the Confederation, limited numbers are availailable.

Very cool design
I've used this model before in a personal and never looked like it was missing anything. This could be a problem for someone.
Bumpmaps aren't necessary for a model, but the thing is they make it look MUCH better. They determine how the lights and darks are across the texture in response to the angle of the light source (the sun).
It highlights the lines and details by having the "gaps" between plates of armor darker, while shinier surfaces actually look reflective.
It should say "I've used this model before in a personal mod."

In a way... If a Corellian Destroyer had a child with a Bothan Assault Cruiser, this would be the kid haha.
It's a kttbash of the bothan cruiser and a corellian destroyer and a damn nice one a might add.
Cheesecake.. send me the model and i'll add a bumbmap. I thought i had it somewher but i can't find it.
So can't wait to use it...and it's only the first capital ship :D soo excited.
