Copy the files from the archive (QeffectsGL_readme.txt, opengl32.dll and
QeffectsGL.ini) in the Kingpin directory, where your Kingpin.exe is.
After you run the game, a log file will appear (QeffectsGL.log). You can
read it to see if you have any errors. To uninstall, just delete the
three files.

The effects:
"Emboss=0", "EmbossScale=0", "DOF=0", "DOFMinZ=0", "DOFSpeed=0" and "DOFScale=0" are all set to "0" because it has no effect with numbers and without them, it also fixes the chopping sound in game cinematic.
Changed "Emboss 1" to "0" and "EmbossScale=0", so the entities in the game won't have a cartonish outline on them. You can change it back to "1", if you want. If you change "BloomDarken=3" to "1", it will increase brightness in the game and make a foggy appearance, but don't modify it to 0, because you will than have a white screen in the game. You can lower "Anisotropy=16" and "Multisample=8", if your game runs a little slower and don't forget to go to Nvidia or Ati control pannel and check "Use application settings".

Vintage car prefabs, made by Roarke, idea to make more cars prefabs inspired by the Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost 1906.qkm vintage car constructed and scaled by my brother Roarkes.

Edited and finished the Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost 1906, and renamed to 1906 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost.

1934_Hispano_Suiza (later on renamed to 1934 Hispano Suiza J12) had two holes in the left car door, reported by my brother.

please help me! i cannot get this to run at all. i copied the files into the kingpin main folder but when i start the game its not even creating the log file.
i reset profiles for kingpin both in control panel and nvidia inspector. so that can't be the problem.
i'm using gog-version with patch 1.21. could this be the issue?

Update: If you don't want to rename your kingpin.exe, because for instance you will be unable to launch the game from GOG Galaxy, this is the verbose answer to the problem: Forums.geforce.com

Yup, same here. Neither does the game load my other opengl32.dll from ReShade.

EDIT: I quote the solution from the Github repository: "NVIDIA drivers sometimes use profiles for the games; they pre-load system's OpenGL library before the game loads it, and the wrapper is ignored. To deal with this, try to rename the executable: e.g. rename quake2.exe to quake2_.exe, and use it to run the game. Please also rename the corresponding entry in the QeffectsGL.ini file for the game!"
