Enjoy my modified QeffectsGL. :) All thanks for the program goes to XaeroX, the maker of QeffectsGL. Copy the files from the archive (QeffectsGL_readme.txt, opengl32.dll and QeffectsGL.ini) in the Kingpin directory, where your Kingpin.exe is. After you run the game, a log file will appear (QeffectsGL.log). You can read it to see if you have any errors. To uninstall, just delete the three files.
Do you have plans for a mod, Total Conversion? Kingpin was a great game, but outdated? With the right urban resources, it can be done!
I have in mind a multiplayer mod, but first i got to do some in game prefabs for it. I will be posting them later, when i finish them. Thanks for asking. Also i have a idea for a non liniar campaign for Dawn of Darkness.
Cool ... I would like to see it. DOD is in Alpha right now for me... it be sometime this spring before I release anything. I want to have a finished project when it comes out, not a broken WIP. Love to see what you do with dod!
If you have problems adding a npc in a map with different skins, with the use of Quake army knife editor just ask me. (for example: 8 malvilg.md2 (npc_malvilgr in the editor), each with a different skin in a map). This can be use with any models in the game. I also intend to finish the Quake army knife tutorial on moddb.
Is there any way to play this online still? I have searched for 2 days..doesn't work with hamachi,gameranger,..
