Kane's Wrath Reloaded is a partial total conversion and balance mod for Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars designed to change and make gameplay the way it was meant to be played. Unlike the original Kane's Wrath expansion for CNC3, this mod for CNC3 will not be played under most KW current gameplay changes and conditions. New gameplay changes, edited content and most units imported from KW and C&C4; (yes, they are real) will add and combine to the strength of the new gameplay experience for this mod.

Report RSS The GDI, Nod and Scrin factions rundown

Here's the partial rundown of the GDI, Nod and Scrin factions' changes.

Posted by on

Coming off several weeks after finishing RA3 modding with RA3 Reloaded, it's time for me to go back to C&C3 modding on KW. Here are some of the changes that are possible of finishing off KW Reloaded, with some restrictions of course. This news will be updated without notice if there are further changes down the road. I'll be posting screenshots as it goes through the development, as there may be more than a dozen new units and structures to add into KW Reloaded.

GDI:
Pretty much like the same vanilla GDI faction with the Slingshot and the Shatterer to be built ingame. Difference is that the Orca Minigunner will be built in place of the Hammerhead. All other rules and changes will apply.

Steel Talons:
- Spotter (one man sniper) will be included ingame.
- Sandstorm (aka Hover MLRS) will replace the Slingshot. Model has been re-sized.
- Shockwave (aka Shatterer) will be included ingame. Model has been re-sized.
- Mastodon will replace the MARV as the epic unit. It will fire with railguns and missile packs.
- Sensor Array (aka Stealth Detect) will be a new defensive structure that can detect stealth units from afar.
- All other rules and changes will apply.

Some people had been wanting Zone Troopers to be built for the Steel Talons, but according to the offense class in C&C4, the Steel Talons units did not come with Zone Trooper infantry. Instead they have the Shockwave in C&C4 in which it was a modified Zone Shatterer. EALA and Breakaway Games previously did want to put the Zone Trooper and Zone Shatterer for Steel Talons, but they put the Zone Shatterer into ZOCOM instead and did not include the Zone Trooper for both Steel Talons and ZOCOM factions. So for this reason, I will not include Zone Troopers into the Steel Talons faction, but I decided to include them in the ZOCOM faction instead to support Zone Raiders. Because of that, another restriction must apply. Mammoth Tanks will no longer be built for ZOCOM since that faction was meant to be a defensive faction.

ZOCOM:
- Zone Troopers will be built ingame. Upgrades will be the same along with Zone Raiders.
- Zone Defenders will be built ingame to replace the Missile Squad. Model has been re-sized.
- Armadillo will replace the APC and it arm with three garrisonable infantry slots. Model has been re-sized.
- Spartan Tank will be the additional new unit from C&C4 as a support tank. A stronger tank than the Predator, it will be built as Tier 2. Model has been re-sized.
- Juggernaut will fire sonic cannons instead of artillery cannons. Cost will increase to 2500.
- Predator Tank will have an upgrade to arm with rocket pods instead of railguns. It will be built as Tier 2.
- Sensor Array (aka Stealth Detect) will be a new defensive structure that can detect stealth units from afar.
- All other rules and changes will apply.

NOD:
Pretty much like the vanilla Nod faction with the Reckoner and Specter to be built ingame. All other rules and changes will apply.

Black Hand:
- Avenger Tank will replace the Scorpion Tank. This is Nod's biggest tank so far. Model has been re-sized.
- Will add in Cyborg Reaper and Cyborg Commando (to replace Nod Commando) for this faction.
- Confessor Cabal will be a tier 2 unit requiring Operations Center leaving the Militant Squad to be built back for this faction. It will have charged particle beam when built and does not require the weapon upgrade. Charged particle beam upgrade now applies to shredder turrets, venoms and avengers.
- All other rules and changes will apply.

Marked of Kane:
- The Awakened will be a tier 2 unit requiring Operations Center leaving the Militant Squad to be built back for this faction.
- The Enlightened will be a tier 3 unit requiring Tech Center. It will have super-charged particle beam already
- Scorpion Tanks and Avatars will have the super-charged particle beam when upgraded.
- Beam Cannons, Flame Tanks and Black Hand Squad will not be available to build for this faction.
- All other rules and changes will apply.

Scrin:
Pretty much like the vanilla Scrin faction. Ravagers and Mechapedes will not available to build for this faction. All other rules and changes apply.

Reaper-17:
- Ravagers and Mechapedes will be available to build under this faction. Ravagers will be built as tier 3 units.
- Harvester is no longer a shielded harvester but a normal harvester.
- All other rules and changes apply.

Traveler-59:
- All vehicles built will come with shields (including harvesters) thus eliminating the upgrade pre-requisite for tier 3. However the costs for those shielded units increase by 300 credits.
- There will be no Mechapedes to build for this faction.
- Like Reaper-17, Ravagers will be built as tier 3 units.
- Lightning Spike can now be built from the Drone Platform.
- May add Terraforming Nexus and Life-Form Plant structures for this faction (they may become defense structures).
- All other rules and changes will apply.

Still have yet to be implemented ingame:
- The Mechapede unit, all other units are possible unless otherwise issued.
- The Scrin Destroyer Ship unit. (until I get permission from the creator)

The Forgotten:
- Mutant Ironback and Mutant Scrapbus will be built from the Mutant Hovel. Both units will need some fixing on their animations.
- Mutant Rocketeer will also be added from the Mutant Hovel. They come in a group of four.
