Battle head to head against the opposing team to take away victory by capturing all your opponents into your jail in Jailbreak Source. Based on the award winning Jailbreak for Unreal Tournament and the classic gameplay of Jailbreak Open Source for Half-Life 1; Jailbreak Source uses all the advantages of the Half-Life 2 engine to recreate a classic gaming experience.
The objectives of Jailbreak Source is to kill all the opponents in which then they will be teleported into your jail cell/confined room in which they have to either break free or have their team mates rescue them before you capture them all. While trying to do this you may have to rescue your own team mates from the same situation.

I would like to give you all a better understanding of what is currently going on. I don't considering this mod dead because I will work on it sooner or later. I have set the percentage counter back to 0% as I have decided to start over and make the mod in my vision. Hellbound has quit as he would like to spend his time working on his source karts mod, but this is also partially my fault as well. I don't know when I will have something ready for you but when I start working on the mod again I will post here and what I am currently working on. You may post on the forums but I am currently not looking for any help and wont be around often.

Well not many servers are running JBtwoforts lately. Try creating a server and see if there are any maps that begin with JB on your list.
Im curious about these maps tho, I know 2forts is on DM and works pretty well.
Alright I'll wait and see what it'll be like when it's released. Never played JB for HL1, since I don't have it.
BDneon, have you ever played the osjb mod for HL-1. If you have you should realize that no simple script can do for the entire mod, not only will they make weapons, but their maps will be increadible, better than 1 map on hldm could be.
BDNeon i think you under-estimate the power of actual coding. We will include so much more stuff that a silly map for HL2DM can do.
I just opened up HL2-DM and typed jb in the map box, I didnt get anything. But i believe you.
Custom weapons, custom game modes, altered hud, team name changes, classes, radio messages, different player models, internet top scores sheet, our own soundscapes, actual jailbreak gameplay, spectator mode. Should I go on or what?
HL2DM is very limited, and I know this with experience. We arnt going for a stupid server script here, the first release will feature things HL2DM is not capable of with just map scripting.
So then, what can be done in this mod that doesn't already exist on jb2forts servers? I don't see anything new. Why don't you guys open up HL2 deathmatch, the unmodded version, and type in jb as the first letters in the map filter box and see what comes up? I think you'll be in for a nasty surprise.

with enough map scripting, you could pull off jailbreak gameplay with just HL2DM, but a lot of things couldnt be done.
