Now this may seem stupid, but how is this going to fit into space combat, I mean the Phoenix is supposed to be a ground Support Ship, I believe it to be the counterpart to an Assault Carrier. So how would this fit in class wise? Oh it does look great too, love the engines.

It can carry alot of ground units but it also has weapons to match for space combat (somebody correct me if i'm wrong)

Did you not see it engage in combat with the Covenant Destroyer in Halo Wars? The ship is incredibly ready and equipped for anti-vessel combat.

Description

Since the Kennedy concept of a weaponless space is now a distant memory from the 20th century, the UNSC continues to surge forward with its Refit programs. The Phoenix-class Military-version embodies the desperation of the UNSC, as even the old Colony ships of yesteryear are pressed into service.
