She's a beauty all right. Wouldn't want to fly her though, she's too sleek I wouldn't want to scratch her. Instead Ill keep her in my living room.

They look fine even with this level of zoom.
That's great because in SoasE you usually watch the strikecrafts from an higher perspective, so they'll be even better.

hmm, would it make more sense to have the anchor stations produce the saber fighters and the regular hanger field longswords, or perhaps be able to field X number of saber squads from inside the planet with a research upgrade to simulate the sabers launching for the surface?

Why would they be stored in Anchor stations rather than dedicated planetary defense hangars?

Just doesn't jive, furry communist.
EDIT: ****, Unikraken ninja'd once again.

Sorry stupid question. Out of curiosity, what's the difference between regular Saber and Saber with Interceptor training? if its somewhere else can you just point me at it. AsloGood texture looks very authentic.

One has stronger missiles so it does bomber roles, and one has higher autocannon so it does fighter roles.

Description

By 2552, the YSS-1000 "Sabre Starfighter" served as the UNSCDF's primary planetary defense fighter. Reach had multiple Sabre fighters stored in launch facilities on the planet's surface. In addition, the orbital platform Anchor 9 had several Sabres stored in its launch bays. Sabres are the premier choice for defending your SMAC stations from bombing runs.
