The UNSC Light Destroyer is essentially a kitbash of two Heavy Frigates, resulting in a ship that can unleash a very punishing volley for its size.
Looks dirty, as in AWESOME! What class ship is this? I think it fits with the frigate and destroyer UNSC style... is that two mac cannons? :)
Does that have two small MACs? Or of the large kind. ^^

Blamtroid is great, but this ship just cracks me up every time i look at it. Its just not right, it looks like it need to be put down.

I still don't like this model. It just doesn't make sense to me. I prefer Genesis' model over this.

The reason i dont like this is unsc ships are mostly built around a mac, this thig looks like its just had 2 stuck on its sides. But hey its your mod and its just my opinion.
Yeah, I can definitely see the reasoning there. However, this has been widened (quite a bit) from just a normal Heavy Frigate, plus the MACs are slightly smaller. Its the equivilant of a shotgun.
The MAC cannons are the strongest weapons the UNSC's GOT!! if they didnt have the MAC cannon, the UNSC would have been immediately WIPED OUT!!

MACs don't work like normal guns you know.
They work with magnets, hence the name.
So there is very little recoil.
Yeah i no, but your still firing a 600 ton bullet very very very very very fast, and it was mentioned somewhere that the Smac has thrusters to counter the effect of recoil.
If you wanted to fix it all you would have to do is put the macs on the inside instead of the outside.
The macs are fine, and I look forward to playing with this ship. It's a matter of opinion.
where are the UNSC heavy destroyers? Like captain key's "The Iriquois"?
