Description
I usually refrain from posting model WIP stuff, but I'll make an exception for the new carrier. This is replacing the previous model that was of the Sulaco-style ship.
This is also the first work of one of the new SotP modelers, a_lleras.

maybe when its textured it might change my mind but i think it kinda looks a bit star-wars-ish...but great work however!! ^^
It's based on the design of the Phoenix-class carrier. So you might notice some design similarities. Also, before it slips my mind again, the original design is from the X3 Halo mod. Hats off to them.

When I google search it, I only find a picture of this model and the old one from this mod. LOL!

Idk about the front end, It doesn't seem to fit the UNSC in my mind. Also, It seems to have lack in the gun department. There is like 6 guns for the entire ship. How big is it supposed to be?
Where are the hangars?

It has two MACs in the front. She's a carrier, not an offensive warship like a Marathon or Halcyon.
I know what carriers are supposed to do. It doesn't need MACs or many archers, but the thing NEEDS PD-guns! The enemy fighters will certainly want to destroy the source of their main opposition.
That's my thinking anyway.
Those turrets need a little touch up I think. Maybe not as deep a trench.

By turtling against Canada so hard with them he was in a rage.
The other player just quit out of frustration.

Definitely liking this over the original Sulaco rip. Can't wait to see it textured. I have too say though, I feel like it is drifting quite a bit from the usual blocky, dull, and ugly UNSC ships. I don't know how much I like that.
