You can base ships off of other ships, that's actually pretty cool, but not so far as taking exact details like the fin on top.

Its a cool ship, besides a lot of halo had similar stuff to aliens.
Yeah, nothing in Halo is a near exact replica, there's inspirations from it sure, but if someone tried to claim they copy pasted the drop ship and replaced it with the pelican they'd be blind.

Avatar is a pure Halo rip-off. You saw all that ground vehicles? Looks exactly like in Halo!
Just letting you know...Avatar was in production since 2000. Halo 1 was out then and it didn't have the Hornet. And they are far from exact copies.
The design was probably not made by then, they probably only thought of "Helicopters" and "suits" and got the design from other Sci-Fi universes...

I don't know why but that background looks so much Homeworld-ish to me.
Nice but maybe you can give the ship some Halo engines other than that it would fit just fine.
if i might make a suggestion to this model... i think it might look better if the bottom part that protrudes is taken out that way it looks less shotgunish. That part just kinda looks like the handle.
I think the texture looks a bit cartoon-ish too, compared to the smaller ships beside it it could look so much more intimidating
it makes them look much better in game. u never sit that close to a ship in game. when ther is 75 ships on screen it looks tits
I don't know I enjoy zooming on my ships every now and then and admire my armada =D haha but yea I guess that more cartoon-ish graphics would increase computer performance.

Is there anyway to get a copy of the model from the mod? Not of course to use publicly but for a personal mod?
