Halo: Homefront Mod for Homeworld 2 Keep it clean news

The past few months have had the BLS team pinned down with school work and gaming goodness (Particularly Spore) for a good few weeks, removing our will to do anything but sleep and play every available minute after school.

How ever, after snapping out of our Spore-induced laze we scraped together some content which we hope will keep you at bay for a bit longer.

With that, we release our third Covenant vessel (Fourth if you count the Seraph) and first one which is based completely on our own concepts;

The Picket ship is a small covenant vessel often employed on it's own for patrol purposes and other missions where the heavy plasma weaponry of larger vessels is considered unnecessary or the ability to carry a legion of troops is not needed.

The Picket only carries two pulse lasers and a nose mounted beam weapon, making it well equipped to fry vessels which stray too far away from orbital lanes. Sadly, it's weapons restrict it from doing much else.

In other news, HHF is still desperate for a skilled texture artist, a modeler capable of making up to scratch Covenant models, and several other jobs. If you feel you have a skill we need, please head over to the BLS forums and post an application in the "Join the team" section.

BLS will also possibly holding another Halo 3 Tournament at our forums in the near future, if you're interested, please make sure you sign up to the forums and beg NT into submission till he agrees to host it. ^^

So with that, my hopes to not have to bring you another update have been dashed, and i renew my wish to not have to write the next update.
