Do you have the original normal map? Or did you not make one?

Is this the new Prowler or? Not familiar with the ship chassis.

This is the new Prowler. It's replacing our currently ugly flying space brick.

This would makes me think of a movie... I can't remember what though... But it also makes me think of seeing a nuclear torpedo or something coming out of nowhere.

Is it just me or it looks like the Normandy?

THAT'S IT. That's what I was thinking of... The Normandy, from ... Mass Effect, right?

Yeah it does. The pulse laser turrets fire from around the same area as the Thanix cannons, too. :P Just kidding, but it is pretty cool. The model was designed off of the Wombat concept art from ODST.

The Wombat was a drone wasn't it?

On a side note, I think it looks kind of like an SR71.

Yeah the Wombat was the drone from ODST.

I'm pretty sure that's based off of concept art for a corvette or fighter, not the wombat.
Halo fanon calls it a Kagemusha prowler.

You sure? It does kinda look like the Wombat...Excluding the tendrils or spines or blades or whatever they're called. SHARK FINS... there we go.

It's an ODST environmental concept art. There were no ships in ODST other than a blown up frigate, the Assault Carrier and the wombats. It may look differently from the real wombat, but there is a lot of the wombat in the concept.

Halo fanon isn't a source.

Which is why it's called fanon. I know that.
The file of the image that went along with the "Kagemusha prowler" article was labeled as corvette concept art for ODST.

Description

Test flight of newly refurbished corvettes in orbit of Mars, near Phobos.

These are the reskinned corvettes I just finished for release. Except for the Prowler, which was graciously donated by the Sins of the Prophet team. Model by A_lleras and texture by Keksz.

For release, all I have left to do is convert the rest of the icons (stations and weapons) to the holographic white scheme and then touch up on the Gantry and Scaffold structures. I would like to go ahead and re-textured the Orthrus and Hermes, but I think that would take too long. Longer than 5 days, anyways. Regardless, I hope everyone has fun on Halloween!
