hmm looks like it might have snow on it... installation 06 is supposed to be arctic even though in halo 3 its depicted as moon like...

assuming that the planets reflected light also reflects off the rings snow. :P

Actually the different rings have very different surfaces.
The terrain is different on each. This could be 03, volcanic and deserts.
The others vary as well. One mostly desert, one mostly water, etc. Standard sci-fi fare.
Thats why the library is a bit different in Halo 2.
Well... there are seven rings, and the Halo trilogy only included 2.5 of them.

I assume he means installations 04 (Halo), 05 (Halo 2) and the half built 04 in Halo 3.

i dont think they will have the ark because its way out of our galaxy by like googleplex light years away. so my guess is no unless they somehow add it way away from the core of the galaxy wich would be a pain in the keister to program. but i have to say that would be a bad *** space battle terrain...*HINT HINT* lol love your guys work i absolutley am obsessed with waiting for this game thank you guys for all the time and effort your putting into the game i am a true fan of apex studios and have faith in you guys good luck!

It could be like a final mission for the campaign (IF it's in an expansion, which it is), where you must select your fleet + ships and choose "Go to Ark" or something (on those little orange planet special things... XD) and there would be a space battle and several planet battles :D

and this is completely desert installation four was like a ring version of earth
Threshold wasn't purple, it was essentially a big Jupiter.
The one around Installation 05 was purple :D

i'ma go with instillation 01 or 03.. 01 mainly because in the .jpg says "installation_01.jpg" XD
