Lighter mod screens.
Remember, the game has an in-built brightness setting, so it can be as light or dark as you want it to be.

Read the update. The brightness is just brighter. Not to mention, again, it seems to be clearer the larger it is.

Are those little ships Longswords?
I think so, if you look at the full resolution image, there are, uh, two two longswords, and four shortswords
Just noticed that ship in the upper-right corner. Definitely UNSC, very interesting...
