As Nhan replied on the other picture we were aiming at the Halo: CE version of the Pelican. Quote: "hence the concrete-look. We excuse it witht the fact that it had to withstand several atmospheric entries".
I like it a lot though, Ulmont really outdid himself on this texture and I am sure he'll do even better on the ones he's currently working on :D The amount of detail is great and yes it looks kinda dirty, but that just shows it's been into service imo :)

Well, we were going for a Halo:CE-look on the texture. Model-wise it's something different though, there it is a mix between Reach and Halo 3.
