The mod is not bad, but boss battles are annoying because of the endless respawn of vortigaunts.
For all:
1. You cannot take HEV suit in the room in start - it's just prank, bro.
2. You haven't flashlight - it's just default HUD icon.
About mod:
1. Game design is bad - you haven't shield (energy or security), not enough ammunition and healers. But you gave many many many enemies and map backtracking! Twenty vortigont on e10 map! It's bruh. I play with cheats only, cause on all difficult levels you havent ammunition! Even if you run from enemies.
2. Map design good after e10 map, but mix with original old design map and Black Mesa maps look's like blemish.

Just like you said in another mod page, "we live in 2024". I'm using your statement against you now, because the game is like 26 years old and it looks like most players haven't even bothered in learning how to play it and choose to complaint because it is easier. It is evident that you wasted all your ammo on stuff that didn't need it. Ammo is low of course, but it is still more than enough, even on hard settings. Why is it so hard to create a plan B as soon as you notice the ammo dropping down? "Hey, this zombie is slow, maybe I can just run past him" ; "maybe I can lure these headcrabs over there and distract this bullsquid" ; "maybe I can throw a grenade to scare these vorts away for a moment". See? it isn't that difficult.
Total BS. You can't run past vortigaunts because they can zap your bootyhole even through some obstacles. Section just before Blue Shift teleporter is the peak of bad gamedesign in this mod where you 100% will run out of ammo no matter how you struggled to conserve it beforehand as vortigaunts come from every inch of the air quite literally especially after you start that old-ahh computer and you will have to do a little backtrack and on your way vortigaunts will come from EVERY direction possible and they will make you regret that you ever lived. By that moment I had zero of EVERYTHING. I had nothing to shoot, throw, place and even hit with as I missed the crowbar because I didn't found it in a place where it was in original escape mod.
