So I recently pulled my Axis and Allies CD back out and hooked it into my Steam Account, would there be a problem running your mod? Since Steam takes over the startup process when starting the game, even with the CD in.

wow... good question. I don't know the answer... hold on.
here's a youtube video that might answer the question:

I always try to use a hard copy (aka physical disc) of the programs I like.

Hey, Gizmotron, if I could make a request, I would like to see more American and Japanese Armor. Preferably Heavy Armor, like for the US, Some M4A3E8's, T-25, T-32, M41 Walker Bulldog, M44 and M12 Artillery, and if you feel like it, T95 Doom Turtle, or the T-28 Baby Doom Turtle. As for the Japanese Armor, Id like to see some O-1's, O-Ni, and O-Ho's.
I love the German Armor line, Russian Armor Line, and British line. But the American and Japanese seriously need help. I don't think the German line needs anymore armor, but if you'd like, It would be cool to see some Stuggs, and Martyr's maybe even the Mouse. Idk, I know its a lot to ask, but I only ask because I LOVE YOUR MOD, and I feel like more could be added. :D Best of Luck! Thank you for your time. :)

we've got MOST of those in the mod already. the Walker Bulldog happens a bit too late after the war for us to put that in there. I've considered adding Korean War era units into the game. but for now, we're settling for things that were in action before 1948 or so.

American medium and heavy tanks will be outclassed by the Germans and the Russians. they key for them is to spam some artillery tanks to support their regular armored forces.

historically, Russian artillery fire control was not very good. so I intend to "nerf" their artillery tanks by reducing their rate of fire a little bit.

Japan has some heavy tanks now. and it also can use Banzai Charge to improve tank performance in combat (that 50% increase in health and rate of fire makes their tanks far more competitive. even if they can't win, they can at least gain experience and keep from getting wiped out en masse)

thanks for your kind words. I have a few friends of Polish of lineage-- so I wanted to make it as historically accurate (and fun to play) as possible.

for the sake of clarity when trouble-shooting I intend to delete the "Uncommon Valor Open Beta Test Patch" at the start of the new year. if, for whatever reason, people want to download it, there's still a bit more time. again, like the older Gizmotron Mod, Uncommon Valor only seems to work for the English version of the game. I don't know what is necessary to make it work for other versions... I'm just an amateur modder. thanks to everybody who's tried out the mod thus far. hope you all continue to have fun with it in the future.

In 31. march 2014, you stated that the mod will be hopefully done in this year's november. Is it actually near in completion or do we have to wait? (The longer it takes - The better it's going to be).
It's a good thing that you included subs and minor nations.
Keep up the good work!

I'm definitely releasing something by the end of the month. the campaigns will have to be an add-on. (new things will include playable Belgium, Yugoslavia, Thai forces for Japan, packable/unpackable artillery bunkers, and a lot of glitches that have been fixed. WW2 map will be significantly changed)

it won't be the "finished product" that I had hoped it would be. but we've done a lot. (probably more than we should have, LOL)

new SP campaigns will have to be a separate add-on patch for the future.
