changed Freelaner.exe version to 0.3 so when you pay the game you'll see in the bottom right corner
it will say 0.3 instead of 1.0 (also changed server to 0.3
a gigantic planet in alpha-1 (I had to place this planet outside of the system because it was so huge that it covered half the system)
7-9 new systems
Freeport 7 is now freeport 11 ( just so it would make sense)

Note: My skills for text and system editng for freelancer are very good (I am COMPLETELY useless at texturing and modeling)

Instructions:
1.Download the mod and unzip it
2.Download the start pos patch because you will start in the old york system and the game will
crash after a few minutes (so this a MUST).
3.Activate mod with FLMM (also a MUST) 
4.Run Freelancer
5.Enjoy

and to all the people who made the tools I use to make this mod (there is a list for those of you who are wondering) NOTE: NONE of these tools that I use to make FLTFOS are mine...OK?

Freelancer Explorer (only to place bases, fields andother objects and zones. Google it you shouldn't miss it)
Freelancer Developer (a tool similar to FL-ids which has a dll editor to add names. I dont remember where I got it from...try searching on the internet)
FLIniEditor (a tool which displays the freelancer ini files in a easy to read table)
And a new tool called freelancer Mod Studio (its has a 3D system editor/viewer its a very good tool Download here Code.google.com )

Well its been quiet a while since I have last updated this mod. Of course there quiet a few reasons behind it mainly because I have run into so many bugs and errors that the mod just simply crashes on startup and well it's been very hard trying to fix all those bugs and that the fact that this mod contains very little at the moment, of course though that doesn't mean that I will just simply stop developing the mod.

Another reason being that at the time of release of this mod I thought I could create something big but I wasn't very experienced at modding Freelancer and well again it let up to all those errors and bugs but I have learned so much since then, I have learned to mod Freelancer better and I have compiled some music which I can see that might fit very well into the game and learned to do many others thing than just edit systems but I believe that I haven't reached a level of experience yet to accually develop a proper mod out of this, again that doesn't mean that I will stop developing the mod, and for those of you who think this mod may be dead, it isn't I prefer that this mod is considered to be "on ice" as they say cause just about every day I get ideas on what to add to this mod. It's just that I released this mod way to early for people to try and/or play.

And yet another reason on why there hasn't been much going on with this mod is because of the fact I go to TAFE (AKA tertiary school) to learn on how to do these things because I plan to become a games designer in the future so that will be potentially a plus for this mod's future which does leave me little time to accually work on this mod but I definitely do plan to work on this mod again even if I have make this mod entirely from scratch so I just thought I ought to let those, who use this mod, know that this isn't the end of the line for this mod, more like the beginning of something new and greater............

After a little look in your mod (I checked it with Freelancer Explorer), I saw what have you done to New York and I was shocked. I can only say WTF. You shoul take the comments seriously. I understend that it is you first mod, but if it happens after the original storyline, why is Freeport 7 there? And if so, where are the nomads? This makes no sense. Another thing is: NEVER EVER DELETE HOME PLANETS OR BASES. You can always do a secondery home system without changing the original one, or change the faction. Dont take those 2 comments as an insolt, but as an encouragement and a try to help.

Is this mode supposed to be a big mod? Or a wasted idea? I didnt play the mod and I dont think I will. Only from pictures i can see you did it all with Freelancer Explorer. New systems are not all the mod. You need to learn the Freelancer coding system so you can add new ships, stations and stuff. I am a professional coder and i make mods. Consider my comment as a review from a modder and make the changes.

I've only come across ONE MOD-two versions,that didn't need to adjust to GOD MODE,or to a playable level,including the original Freelancer.You should try several mods,just to get ideas,and hopefully you can improve your game to a more playable version.
